Coming to Britain

Three Swiss wines, not quite ready to pour.

From a family estate on the limestone terraces near Zurich. Very little of it has ever left Switzerland. We are bringing a first allocation to the UK, with tastings around it. Tell us which bottle you would open first.

The first three

Räuschling, label blurred until the wines arrive

No. 1 — AOC Zürich · 2023

Räuschling

The old Zurich grape, nearly lost by the end of the last century and restored here. Bone-dry, athletic, unapologetically mineral: a Zurich morning of fog, wet pebbles and biting air.

Lemon zest · lime blossom · wet pebbles · tensile acidity

Pinot Noir rosé, label blurred until the wines arrive

No. 2 — AOC Zürich · 2025

Pinot Noir rosé

Fairy-tale florals and a whispered kiss of red fruit. Made from the estate's finest Pinot, not a by-product of it, with an acid line that empties the glass sooner than you expect.

Wild strawberry · dried rose · crushed raspberry · dry

  • 92Falstaff
  • 91VINUM
Pinot Noir, label blurred until the wines arrive

No. 3 — AOC Zürich · 2023

Pinot Noir

The estate's icon wine, from its steepest terraces and oldest Pinot vines. Bewitchingly pure red fruit and a very gentle seduction: it arrives quietly and occupies you completely.

Graphite · dark cherry · iron · dried roses · long finish

  • 93Falstaff
  • 93Wine Advocate
  • 93VINUM

Wines, tastings, evenings

Hear first.

We are planning more than a shipment: small tastings and evenings around Swiss wine in the UK. Tell us what you would come for and roughly where you live, and we will write when there is something to share. Never more often than that.
